Read the warranty carefully. Some actions, such as lack of maintenance, going over the maximum weight limit or assembling a treadmill yourself can invalidate the warranty. ConsumerSearch.com[1] says to look for a treadmill with a minimum of 1- to 3-year warranty for parts and labor. If the model you select offers a 90-day warranty, they suggest purchasing an extended warranty. Some respected brands, like Sole[2] offer lifetime warranties on frames and decks, 30-year warranties on motors, 5-year warranties on parts, and 2-year warranties on labor.

Most experts don't recommend buying budget treadmills, but Weslo[6] has a good reputation and offers a number of treadmills for under $500. A popular model is the Cadence C44, which can be found for around $290-$330 at WalMart.com[7] and Amazon[8] .
Recommended mid-range treadmills include the Smooth 5.25 Treadmill, which can be found for $1,000-$1,200 at both SmoothFitness.com[9] and Amazon[10] , and the Sole F83, which can be purchased directly through Sole[11] for around $1,800. Sole also offers to match any other offers or pricing should you find it for less.
In the high-end range, Landice's[12] L7 Pro Sports Trainer comes highly recommended. Landice offers a list of dealers[13] in the U.S. and Canada. The treadmill can be found online at TreadmillCentral.com[14] for around $3,800.

Hi. I like to go on long walks and currently live in Arizona. I am moving to Canada and want a treadmill (actually 2, one for my adult daughter, too)to keep up with our walking exercise in winter. We don't need fancy running settings. Are there treadmills just for walking? Are there special deals when you buy 2? Thanks!
I got a treadmill from my step mom and I am not sure any details just that it does have a computer pad that gives you the speed and distance and what not. I am looking to sell it and I wanted to know if you guys can buy it from me. where I could sell it to if you guys wont buy it and how much it would run for.
I bought it from Omni fitness.
This is a well built machine. McMillan motor. I gues LifeFitness/Landice uses the same motor.
Some complain about stability. If you have flat surface you should fine.
